Please note that timelines are influenced by how promptly we receive your feedback and information. Delays in providing your guest address list, color selections, or other necessary details may result in extended timelines. To keep your project on track, timely responses are essential.

Design: 2-3 weeks: After placing your order, you’ll receive the first proof within 3-5 business days. Once you submit your feedback, we’ll provide a revised proof reflecting your changes within 2-3 business days.
When you’re satisfied with the design and give final approval, we’ll move forward with printing.
printing: 3-4 weeks: Once the final approval form is submitted, no further changes can be made, and we’ll begin the printing process. This stage typically takes around three weeks.

invitations: You should aim to send out wedding invitations at least two months before the wedding date. It's important to allocate time to add postage, stuff, seal, and mail your invitations.

In general, the earlier you can order, the better!

However, all items that contain fonts must stay the same throughout your chosen design.
Each collection has been thoughtfully designed with select fonts that work well together. Hence, we do not allow mixing and matching of fonts from different suites.

classic handmade paper
Our classic handmade paper is a luxury paper produced in the USA. Each sheet of paper has a natural deckled edge on every side. The paper is thick, soft, and has a textured feel. Embrace the imperfections of this paper, as not every edge is a perfect 90 degrees, and the thickness may vary from sheet to sheet.
Our classic handmade paper is available in four colors. More colors are available as a special order upon request.
Seeded Handmade Paper
This paper is embedded with a mix of wildflower seeds that will sprout into lovely flowers when planted. It is a great option for people who are environmentally conscious. Imperfections are to be celebrated since each sheet is unique, and the amount and placement of seeds may differ from one sheet to the next.
Our seeded handmade paper comes in a natural white, but more colors are available upon request.

Wax Seal Options
Printing Methods
At Sal Studios, we specialize in premium printing techniques, offering both letterpress and foil printing. These methods create a beautiful tactile impression on your paper, adding a touch of elegance that you can both see and feel.
For certain items, like guest addresses, envelope liners, and details cards, we also offer digital printing. This helps keep costs down while still delivering a stunning and cohesive invitation suite that will wow your guests.
As a general rule of thumb, any item that is on handmade paper will be printed with foil or letterpress.

Letterpress involves pressing your design into the paper using our 100-year-old antique printing press, creating a tactile impression. The ink used for letterpress has a matte finish, while our foil colors have a shiny, reflective finish.

Foil printing uses heat and pressure to transfer a metallic or pigmented foil onto your design, resulting in a shiny, reflective finish that catches the light beautifully. It’s perfect for creating an eye-catching effect that elevates your invitations.

We believe in complete transparency when it comes to pricing! You’ll find all our prices listed right on our website, along with a handy pricing calculator to give you an instant idea of costs. Once you’re ready to order, you can shop directly through the site—no need to wait for a quote!

Your invitations will arrive in separate bundles, with each individual item packet together. For example, the main invitations will be in one bundle, the main envelopes in another bundle, and so on. If you ordered wax seal/belly bands, envelope liners, or vintage stamps (non DIY), those will come assembled for you.
When you receive your order, you will need to add stamps to the envelopes, stuff the envelopes, seal them, and mail them yourself.

We do allow QR codes but on details cards only. You will need to send us a high-resolution file (EPS preferred) of your QR code, and we will add that in for you!

If you need your order to be rushed, we offer a service for an additional fee of $295. This fee does not include rush shipping.
With this service, we will provide you with your first proof in just one business day instead of our typical 4-5 day turnaround time. You will also receive responses to your revision requests within one day.
Your order will be printed and shipped within 1-2 weeks instead of our typical 2-3 week turnaround time.

We allow you to mix and match envelope liners and belly band/wax seals only. Anything that has a font must remain consistent throughout that semi-custom design.

Our handmade paper items (main invitations, save the dates, and RSVP cards) are exclusively offered with letterpress or foil printing.
Due to the thickness and texture of the handmade paper, digital printing isn’t ideal; it often doesn’t give the crisp, high-quality results we strive for.
Instead, letterpress and foil printing bring out the best in this paper, giving each piece a unique, tactile feel that digital printing simply can’t achieve.

I recommend trying to get your initial order as accurate as possible. This will set you up for success during the design process to see everything together cohesively.
However, you'll receive 3 rounds of design proofs where you can make changes under each round. This includes edits to quantities, paper types, text, colors, or adding additional items.
Once you approve the final design and we go to print, no further changes can be made.

Please keep in mind that not every person on your guest list will receive an invitation. This is because, when accounting for families and couples, the number of invitations needed is usually only 60-75% of the final guest count.
Additionally, it is recommended that you add 15% extra invitations to your order to account for any last minute additions to your guest list as well as keepsakes for you to keep.

Yes, all colors are customizable. When placing an. order, you can simply indicate the desired colors to match "The Audrey Suite" or any other suite you prefer.
